Welcome to Life: Sorted, LLC (“Life: Sorted,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including document preparation, consulting, digital downloads, and related educational offerings. By engaging our services or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms.

1. Nature of Services

Life: Sorted, LLC is not a law firm, financial institution, or insurance agency.

We do not provide legal, financial, or insurance advice.
Our services are educational and organizational in nature and include:

  • Document Preparation for simple, commonly used forms such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, Healthcare Directives, and HIPAA Releases, based solely on information provided by the customer.
  • Consulting Services that help customers understand, organize, and communicate their personal, financial, and end-of-life information.
  • DIY Digital Downloads that allow customers to independently complete and maintain their organizational materials.

Any questions requiring legal, financial, or insurance interpretation will be referred to licensed professionals in the appropriate field.

2. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are solely responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, complete, and truthful information.
  • Reviewing all completed documents for accuracy.
  • Arranging proper execution, notarization, and witnessing of documents, unless specifically included in an in-person signing session.

Life: Sorted does not verify, interpret, or alter customer-provided information. Customers understand that incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the validity of documents or the effectiveness of their planning.

3. Scope of Document Preparation

Document preparation services offered by Life: Sorted, LLC are limited to work that is permitted under Florida law for non-lawyers assisting with legal forms.

Our role is strictly clerical. We type and format information exactly as provided by the customer using standardized, state-compliant templates for simple documents such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, Healthcare Directives, and HIPAA Releases.

We do not:

  • Draft custom legal language or add legal provisions not contained in standardized forms.
  • Interpret or explain the law, provide legal advice, or determine which forms a customer should use.
  • Guarantee that any document will meet specific legal challenges or be valid outside the State of Florida.

Our services are intended only for use within the State of Florida, and customers acknowledge that laws vary by state. Customers with multi-state assets, complex estates, or other unique needs are encouraged to seek guidance from a licensed Florida attorney.

4. Consulting Services

Consulting sessions are strictly educational and organizational.
We assist customers in:

  • Understanding what documents and information are needed for effective planning.
  • Organizing records, digital assets, and personal details into a comprehensive Legacy Binder.
  • Learning how to communicate and maintain their plans with family members.

We do not provide legal, financial, or insurance planning or create custom legal strategies.

5. Digital Downloads and DIY Products

All digital and downloadable products (including the Legacy Binder, supplemental guides, and templates) are licensed for personal use only.

Customers may not copy, redistribute, sell, or share any Life: Sorted materials without written consent.
Because these products are delivered instantly, all digital product sales are final and non-refundable.

6. Payment and Refund Policy

Payment is due at the time of service or purchase.

  • Document Preparation and Consulting Services are non-refundable once rendered.
  • Digital Products are non-refundable due to their downloadable nature.
  • If a session must be rescheduled, we will make every effort to accommodate you promptly.

7. Limitation of Liability

Life: Sorted, LLC is not responsible for:

  • Errors, omissions, or misstatements in customer-provided information.
  • Improper execution, witnessing, or notarization of documents.
  • Legal outcomes related to probate, disputes, or other proceedings.

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

8. Referrals to Licensed Professionals

We may recommend attorneys, financial advisors, insurance agents, or other licensed professionals when appropriate.
These referrals are provided as a courtesy. Life: Sorted assumes no liability or responsibility for third-party advice, performance, or outcomes.

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy is extremely important to us.

  • All personal information shared during document preparation, consulting, or binder organization is treated as confidential.
  • Information will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required by law or with your express consent.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes will be handled exclusively in the courts of Volusia County, Florida.

11. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, policies, or legal requirements. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
